Day 2: Murgab - Khorog
Today we are going to come to Khorog along Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. The second highest mountain road Pamir Highway is considered after highway of Tibet. The highway runs over passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level and mountains. On the tour you will go over Koitezak pass (4 271 m). Almost not available landscape and Rocky mountains of this corner of the world have given a safety zone to a unique variety of the wild nature. Among the most widespread kinds of wild mammals living in this territory tiger-cat, Turkestan ratgrizzly, stoat, fox, bear, badger, grey and red wolves. Pamirs grow up a strong population of the highly endangered snow leopard, all year round a large and thriving population of Marco Polo sheep and the largest sheep in the world. Overnight is at guesthouse.
Day 3: Khorog - Kalai Khum
To Kalai Khum village you will head on in the morning. This territory only 1 road was possible to be built and consists of high rocky mountains over 6 000 meters. Travelling through the Pamirs, the tourists have the great chance to not only to be surprised by the beauty of virgin surroundings, but also find out more about the history, ethnography and way of life of mountain dwellers and with this visualize how the history of humanity developed as in the story of creation. On the tour we will make a stop in small villages and you will have an opportunity to talk with local people and to see how they live. Villages are situated on both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. You can see on the other side of the river Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night you will spend in a home stay.
Day 4: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
We will head on to Dushanbe in the morning. Today we are going to end travel along Afghanistan border. Shuraba pass (2 267 m) is the highest top of the day. You will be inspired by its rare and amazing mountains - it is Territory of Pamir Mountains. Throughout the year , the Pamir's nature attract the world's greatest explorers - Hsuan Tsang, Marco Polo, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. And now you also have great opportunity to travel here. After you will go along natural border - Pyanj River. Many travelers who visited the Pamirs, called this giant mountain system the ocean of blue and white mountains. Norak water reservoir is called Tajik Sea and you will see it. Night you will spend in a hotel.
Day 5: Dushanbe
You will have a prominent a guide city tour where you will visit interesting sights of Dushanbe. First of we will explore National library, Rudake Park, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. In course of the tour you will walk in National park and don't miss a chance to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. You will enjoy lunch after trip in Central Museum. After you will make a way to Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Moreover you should visit Asian bazar to observe real life. During the tour you can buy souvenirs, colorful goods, fruits and vegetables. Today we will visit the main the best points of Dushanbe and you will get acquainted with many interesting facts about Tajik people. The night is spent in a hotel.
Day 6: Flight
n the morning is transfer to the airport.
